That's indeed very strange, but weirdly enough, I know somebody else (on a different board) having exactly the same issue. I'm going to ask the admin of the other board, what he did in that case....maybe this is going to help us too...
I hit the "fix user profile" buttons...maybe that helped?!

Let me know if something changed. I've disabled and enabled the option to "receive PMs" I have no idea what else the problem could be...you're obviously not at the "limit", so it's really weird that you can't receive PMs...let me know if it works now.
