    Was this originally in color? Best I could find was that this was a green dragon done by Argentinian artist Ciruelo Cabral that appeared in a 2009 calendar of his:

    Not sure if the above helps, I tried grey scaling and then adding a red filter and came up with this. Probably a little too simple for what you need:

    Pretty sure the dragon in Merlin's sig is a forgotten realms cover from about 1988-89. I remember a calendar with it about that time.

    11.6KB @ 100x100 easily inside the phun avatar rules. That's probably why it didnt use yours. 150KB is usually outside the avatar rules
