  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I'll see what the others think about this. I know he complains a lot, but here he's calling the image host trash, not your pictures. Other users have mentioned problems they've had with imagebam although in a nicer manner.

    These are the ads that pop-up when you click on the photo. Ad Block doesn't seem to help with them. It's also a much bigger problem on Mobile. I have pop-up ads happening that are directing me to my AppStore, ads that are trying to lock me out of Safari, etc. Ridiculous.

    So, I downloaded a very generically-titled app call AdBlockerApp, lol. It blocks the actual ad from showing, but it doesn't stop me from being redirected away into another tab when I click on a pic to enlarge it. Essentially, it is useless. It's the fact that I am being directed to another tab that is the problem. I'll keep looking.

    I downloaded another ad block app. This one works in that it blocks the ads within other apps, which is really awesome. However, neither app is blocking the redirect to another tab, or the redirect to the AppStore. Obnoxious. It's mostly Imagebam that's doing this shit.
