    joedefi, your work is amazing. Would be willing to post the steps or a video on how you do your work? I've learned the very basics (I can adjust levels, brightness, etc.) from the first few posts in this thread explaining it, but I know I'm missing something major when comparing against what you're capable of. I don't understand how to get the "even" look throughout the selected area the way you do.

    Ah well, i'd say it takes a lot of practice ;) if you are new to this and to a software like photoshop there is much to learn. One thing i disagree from the op of this thread is the use of the "dodge" and "burn" which i never use because it alter the original details present in the image and makes it kinda fake. Most of the time i use a combination of layer masks, layer adjustments (levels, brightness/contrast, color balance, curves, exposure, saturation) and smart filters. So in short, you first need to master your software, then it will be easier to achieve great xrays. I have learned my way through watching youtube photoshop tutorials videos, there's plenty of 'em. Then you can use this knowledge to perform xrays. Good luck !
