My 2c. CX is my source of new content. When some content I happen to already have can contribute, I'll do it gladly. For now I'm still on a learning curve & AFAICT am therefore considered a "taker" & a drag. So I understand, my 2c isn't in high demand. With that disclaimer, I may be able to suggest something that might address the situation rather than get rid of offenders. (I.e., Scribe.) As I see it the CX mission statement says it is

& posts orthogonal to Celeb Photo. In light of which the problem with 2 pix in 5 pages isn't talk per se, but that talking is inconsistent with the accuracy of the thread title. Hence the latest simple fix of changing the title to be more detailed about what's actually in the thread.

Now, I don't think that's the general solution. It's the improvised explosive device for the current predicament. What I think is the right remedy is, if people want to talk in a non-talk thread, a mod can be sure to pinpoint that as the problem & explicitly suggest "If you want a talk thread, go ahead & create one. This particular existing thread isn't it. So don't." Implicitly, otherwise mods will act. As in, thread closure & post deletions. Both of which have either happened or been threatened in the present instance. So, have I grossly misunderstood, or could this not be a tack toward a viable heading? (If mod so instructs, I'll gladly move this talk post to the CXF Rules sticky thread--whoops, it's locked, I see.) Rgds, MD
