  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    If I'm making a pop-out sig or sig that's blended into the phun blue background i always start with a color fill layer using the color picker and typing in # f5f5ff and then just save it to swatches for next time. I don't see the point in using real transparency on a sig and saving it as a PNG file, a jpeg is gonna be almost half the size especially with all these imagehosts dieing lately.

    I dont have a problem giving advise sid...i was just confused as i didnt notice what you see ;)

    So what the colod ID that i should use?
    I dont make sigs on PS so is dont know what the # f5f5ff means that Innu3ndo posted...

    The f5f5f5f is the colour code. I personally didn't find it accurate even though I used the colour picker and everything. I found the best way was to make a post with a big gap like this....





















    ... and then do a screen capture of the area. Save the file somewhere handy and just open it up when you start Photoshop or whatever you use. Then just copy and paste that layer onto the background and go from there.

    The program i use for the sigs has RGB setting for color so this code doesnt help me :(

    I'm using PS for about 4 weeks and what i can do is just a very very small part of it's options, so i stil have a lot to learn. Learning just takes time, step by step i'm learning new things.

    There have been some complaints about Clintonio. I want to ask all of you to make sure that when you save a sig, you save it at the lowest file size possible. If you are using PS, make sure to select "Save for Web & Devices". This will allow the host to load quicker in the pages. A 90KB Sig can be save for 30KB using this method. It may not sound like much, but if everyone does it, it will increase the page load speed.
