i`m with you with this "rules"-thing.
it`s just a matter to implement and "enforce" (means monitor) them.
and: it`s a common, general experience that everyone wants protective rules when he/she is affected by something but doesn`t really cares if others are.
and - also in general - you may remember that many "discussions" came to the result that it`s better to have less mod-interference. the more rules, the more mods need to "take care".

you`ll likely feel treated unfair again, but we, the staff here, don`t like your sig. this alone doesn`t need to bother you, buit we also see it as YOUR view on phun and the phunners in general. maybe you should consider to change it - otherwise the "phun censorship" might take action.
