I was surprised but not surprised by it. The Flames are rebuilding and something has got to give. Regehr is an older player and we need to make room for younger talent. I think Robyn will do well in Buffalo. If it means he's closer to a cup, then I'm happy with the trade. I would rather see Regehr go, over Iggy or Kipper.

What's your opinion of the Regehr trade? Personally, I'm mortified, but I guess this season will tell whether or not it worked.

How is the color scheme not the same? Red and blue. :-S There were definitely better fan submissions, but for a coporate decision, they could have done MUCH worse: see the Thrashers logo, the Stars' old "Uterus" logo, or "The Buffaslug" (aka the new Sabres logo)...I love the new logo, and assuming the jersey doesn't FAIL (see: the EDGE Flames jerseys, the "Mustard" Predators third jersery), I'll most likely be buying one after I get my Flames jersey collection squared around.

Hey, what do you think of the new Winnipeg logos? Personally, I'm glad they kept the name and color scheme the same. Looks pretty sweet.
