Forums like phun.org operate on the basis that new threads start at the top of a forum, and replying to a thread causes the system to bring it back to the top, so the threads at the top are either new ones or recent but popular ones! Many boards apply some judgement on what sort of period to allow threads to "hog the limelight", and phun.org has set this period at 14 days! So replying to (bumping) threads older than a fortnight is not welcomed here, unless you're adding new content which might justify the thread's return to the top. This means that merely adding some trivial remark, request or thanks (except via the "Thanks" button) will earn you a rebuke! In your case, you didn't merely do this once, you did it five or six times in succession! That's what I meant by "multiple bumping"! Your infraction points will expire in 14 days. S
