    That was a great episode. I have to say, I like The Orville a LOT more than the new Star Trek.

    It's an entertaining show. Patrick Stewart is a regular on American Dad, so I imagine it's only a matter of time before he puts in an appearance on The Orville. Maybe if it gets picked up for a second season.

    one show is on a paid service, one is one free tv. as far as star trek goes it has led to record numbers of cbs all access same day signups.........politics has nothing to do with it......2 ppl on a forum aren't indicative of the whole viewing public.

    It's already been confirmed that he will be making an appearance on the show. Also Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker) was the director of episode 5.

    I prefer Discovery but I like Orville too. Halston Sage is my favourite lady on the show though :p

    STD (Ha!) gets an 87% score from critics, and a 60% score from fans.

    The Orville gets a 20% score from critics, and a 91% score from fans.

    It would have been so great IF Palicki was Wonder Woman for the tv show and/or movie. She got such a prefect look for it.
