    The more real the fakes look, the less likely you are to get real nudity from anyone you've heard of. What will be the value of paying a starlet to do it when anyone who cares about her will already have 100 hyper real fakes that probably look better than the real thing anyway?

    They can't only if you're not thinking smart. If t_d got banned wherever they migrated they'd create a big competitor to deal with, this way they can keep them controlled and contained plus they don't have to deal with new competition.

    They've been pretty aggressive about most things celebrity related since the fappening. I think it's mostly to protect their precious AMA section. Celebrities probably won't want to answer a bunch of questions from random internet people on the same site that posts up fake or leaked pictures of them. And the truth is that an Emma Watson AMA is probably going to bring in more revenue in 24 hours than a tiny sub like r/deepfakes would in 10 years. And that doesn't count all the new users that would be visiting the site for the first time and might stick around.
