My two cents? The INSTA tag shouldn't justify a deviation from standard meaning of words like "see through top". If we accept that "see through top" on Phun usually means something like "you can more or less see boobies", then i don't see why make an exception for Instagram shit, it's just misleading.
Of course it's just my opinion, I'm not even sure there's consensus over the definition of "see through". Peace

Technically you're right yucon, that's what the dictionary definition says. But I'm not sure that you or the other mods here realize that today, the word see-through, in a title thread for example, has come to strongly imply the presence of nipples. I'm not saying that's correct, it's just what many people expect to see when that word is mentioned in a thread title. You might not agree with this, but many people see it like that.

When it comes to celebrity posts in a forum, I feel like that word's definition has changed a bit, and people's expectations changed with it.

Well now, someday when you actually start a thread to contribute content to the forum, you can rest assured that you'll have full creative input on how to craft the most accurate thread title the world has ever seen. But until that day comes, instead of complaining about what's been posted, you could at least click on Like to show the OP that you appreciate the effort they went to, even if the content doesn't live up to your standards.

I Like every single content post in every single thread I open because I like to show some semblance of appreciation for the efforts of others. I never complain about the content and I never bitch about something as stupid as the thread title. Who fucking cares? People should express their opinion all they like, but why waste it complaining about something that in the greater scheme of things no one really gives a shit about? It's petty. Try showing some appreciation instead.

Just because you do that doesn't mean everybody has to do the same, we all have our different ways. I give thanks many times too, but you're entitled to your own opinion of course. I don't want to argue about this anymore, I'm sure we both have better things to do.
