    Here's one for all of us in the Northern Hemisphere longing for some Summertime goodness. :D

    This is a snap of my boat (The Dry Martini ;) ) Taken in August a couple of years ago shortly after a rain/thunder storm blew through. You can just make out a rainbow over the island, and ridge line on the left side of the pic. It's a little grainy due to my shit camera, but methinks a nice pic nonetheless, and it captures my favorite place. :D Thanks for this thread bama. ;)

    I went for a moto ride with a couple of mates yesturday at a friends property about 2hrs drive away,and took a couple of pics of the scenery..

    Just before we started riding a lightining storm came through, and this is some of the damage it did. This is the first time ive seen a tree hit by lightning, not the best pics but there was bark everywhere on the ground was pretty cool i thought

    now if you are wondering, when its only 7 degrees outside, this place can turn off the fans that constantly blow cool air up thru the pile of shredded corn cob avoiding spontaneous combustion, but last Friday, the temp shot up 30 degrees in about 5 hours, and the fans for some reason failed, so this little fire on top is actually a smoldering bomb in the center. it should be out in about a week or so.

    The other day we had a fierce windstorm through Niagara region, which also provided us with some fairly dramatic skies throughout the day.

    Took this shot along the shoreline of Lake Ontario in Port Dalhousie.

    I intentionally exposed for the sky.
