Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    it is a Little bit of my expertise there senn but usually these problems are something that everyone experiences when clicking on pics. And as Always and as tiresome as the answer becomes its the hoster that probably have decided to use the adds that way and in the extension they are the ones you need to Contact. The can fix it if they want probably but why remove a potential income of Money. Unless its virus/trojan related. Either way the hoster is out of our jurisdiction. I enjoyed it when we had capster here that worked closely with sharenxs he seemed really interested in hearing our good and bad criticism.

    Yup, I have before. Talked to him I mean, not posted in that thread.

    Yeah, that's why I asked if there were any hosts that were void of this crap. It's been getting really bad as of the last six months, especially with ImageBam. I'll click on the pic to enlarge it and it'll shoot me to another tab in my browser with porn adds, or it'll shoot me over to the AppStore to promote some shit Freemium game when I am on mobile. Honestly, I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about it. It's made it so I don't want to enlarge any of the pics. That seems to be the only way to avoid it.

    i only use the host for the lack of better options really. I used imagevenue earlier but they are limited to Three pics in a row, and to be honest that doesnt look good in a post as far as my opinion goes as a contributor. I experience the same problem as you are as im Always on a iphone certain times.

    Download Firefox, go to Add-ons and get Adblock Plus. No more popups, no more redirect to Play Store.

    I'm talking about mobile (Apple) devices mostly. Firefox is not available.

    I've downloaded numerous pop-up and ad blockers apps from the AppStore. Not only do they mess with the Wi-Fi, but none of them work to prevent the loading of other tabs and AppStore redirect. I actually just e-mailed the developer of one of them, asking why it is affecting my Wi-Fi.

    Thanks for the help.

    I get the same on my android phone. When i click to enlarge imagebam pics it opens a new tab with some bullshit ad. Its annoying, but for me, after the initial popup it doesnt occur again unless there has been hours in between opening an imagebam link. Does that hold true for you or does it happen every single time?

    This issue isn't phun related, it's phone related. As mentioned before. GB's tech thread is the best place to seek advice here. Unfortunately, he's been very busy lately and hasn't had much time for phun. I suggest you google the issue and see what other people with similar trouble are doing to correct the problem.
