    Those are great, SB, especially the one based on the painting!

    If anyone is wondering why the "building" in the painting looks hauntingly familiar, it's an impression of La Sagrada Família (officially the Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família), which is an unfinished Catholic basilica in Barcelona, designed by the celebrated Art Nouveau architect Antoni Gaudi.

    Adjusted curves and color balance to achieve more light (don't use brightness or you're mess it up) and warmth on skintone (blended with warming filter like a skylight).
    The body was just basic cutting.
    On the hair and strands of hair I used something different: multiple selections of parts and blending (darken - multiply) them; each seperate layer tweaked with an adjustement mask (black or white soft brush) to isolate the strands.
    Gives an OK result but it's time consuming.

    Gradient black to white 'cause otherwise the hair details wouldn't be noticable anymore and all my tedious work would have been in vain. ;)
