  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Quality of Pictures On Phun

    I have noticed a trend toward less HQ image posts on Phun, and more solely MQ images posted. I don't get it. Can anyone explain this trend.
    BTW - I often argue think more of as mega-pixel size to quality rating. TO me a 6 megapixels is HQ or UHQ. Vast majority of images lately are only 1 to 2 megapixels.

    first of all we pretty much revisit this argument one every couple of months, what is HQ and what not
    i think its pretty much argued to the fairly sharp point now

    as far as the content.
    this trend will continue until it changes at which point the next or "new" trend will begin to trend, if you cant identify that trend before it begins to trend then buy short and stay for the long..
    i think.

    sometimes im not sure if i do any good when i think

    The pic posters can only post what they find. Not everyone has HQ sources. Would you rather no pics but HQ get posted? If so, the celeb forum would have far less new threads daily.
