  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I remember a while back someone in here did a render of the word Phun in 3D with blue and purple paint effect splashed all over it. That was awesome for a banner logo.

    Okay. I was thinking of gathering all the entries so far and placing them in a poll thread where people can vote for as many or few as they like, sort of a semi-finals, and then taking the top 5 vote getters and creating a finals poll.

    There's no specific deadline, so I'll leave this thread open another week, see what turns up.

    I could do more, but I was hoping we'd get a little more feedback.

    Are the powers that be happy to just let us do our thing and a winner gets picked from those? If so, that's cool but if there's some direction they'd like to pass on we could tweak existing ideas or provide new ones to suit.

    I was hoping more people would see this thread too. I think what I'll do first is link to it in a couple of the other forums, see what gives. I'll also encourage River to answer your questions. He's very busy this time of year so his time here is limited.


    BTW, dig the Erica Cerra sig. I think she's stunning. :fing02:
