Celebrity Photos Forum Rules

This forum is primarily for posting still images from professional and paparazzi sources or official studio/network promotions.

Do a SEARCH before posting to avoid reposts.​

1. Thread Titles

a. Be succinct! Use the celebrities' full name, event and/or short description of pic, and date (of the pic/event, NOT the date you posted) in the title when starting a thread. Do not replace any letters in the thread title with non-alphabetic characters such as numerals or symbols. Please see THIS thread for more information regarding thread titles and how certain characters can affect the search function.

Use this template: Name(s) / Event or activity / Date of event or activity / (Image quality if less than HQ)

Proper: "Hayden Panettiere - 200X Phun Awards in Hollywood - Jan 16 200X" or "Rihanna - Thong bikini at Carnaval in Barbados - Feb 12 200X (MQ)"
Improper: "Alexandra Daddario - Fucking AWESOME CLEAVAGE!!!!"​

You may put additional comments in the title as long as the basic info stated in the template above is included. Titles have limited characters so be concise.

No False Advertising: Any content promised in a thread title must be delivered in the thread. If your post does not contain what is stated, your thread will be trashed.

Also, if you do not know the date when the pic was taken, state "date unknown" in the thread title.

b. We prefer that HQ or UHQ pictures are posted but if you are going to post LQ or MQ or Tagged pictures you must note 'LQ' or 'MQ' or 'Tagged' in your thread title. Do not bother posting here if you're pinching pics from other sources/sites and tagging them yourself to attract undeserved attention to your website/blog. It won't be tolerated and you will be banned.

c. English language only (except for foreign film/publication titles). Non-English alphabets, accents, diacritics, runes and hieroglyphs screw up the search system, and should not be used.

d. Do not use ALL CAPS for titles, except for acronyms or abbreviations.​

2. Body of the Post

a. Picture sets should be posted as clickable thumbnails. Hotlinking images is prohibited. All images offered via filehost download must be previewed as clickable thumbs. It is not acceptable to preview a mere selection, with the full image complement available only via filehost download. Any such links must include file size and image quantity. Posted images must be identical to those offered in the zip file, and vice versa.

b. New threads dedicated to images from "social media" sites, e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc., are to be posted EXCLUSIVELY** in the Celebrity Extra Forum. Any such threads found in Celebrity Photos will be moved or trashed depending on staff discretion.

** An exception will be made for social media images posted as ADDS to an existing CP thread as long as the images are clearly event related. Any social media images included in the creation of an official event thread should be segregated in an ensuing post following the OP.

c. Before you post captures from a movie, video or TV show in the Celebrity Photos Forum you should know that vid caps don't qualify for CP. Promotional materials such as studio generated photographic production stills and professionally staged photos of movie or TV performers involved in a production that are clearly of greater quality than basic screen captures are acceptable content for Celebrity Photos. All other representations of a film or television production (i.e. low rez posters, DVD cover art and media player screencaps or gifs) are the domain of Celebrity Extra.

d. Pictorials originating from a paysite (e.g. Playboy) are limited to a maximum of 30 pictures per thread. No Adds and no full sets allowed, unless the pictorial is less than 30 images in the first place.

e. Preview your post for rules and spelling compliance before submitting it.

f. Follow the rules regarding the use of ImageHosts - failure to do so will result in your posts/threads being deleted.

g. Only one thread from a person should exist per outfit on the same day.

No need to have one thread for a person leaving their hotel, another for the premiere, a third for an after-party and a fourth thread for them returning to their hotel.

You should put descriptions of what you would use in the title at the beginning of your post, such as:
Same Day - Seen out in Los Angeles or you can still do a complete title before your post if you prefer Sydney Sweeney - Going to the Gym in Los Angeles - 2/29/24

You should already be searching to avoid reposts so this will be easy to notice a thread you can add to.​

3. Banned Content

a. No images, still or moving, are permitted of anyone under the age of 18, unless they are subordinate or background figures in multi-party or group pictures, are appropriately and modestly dressed, if not fully clothed, and are not the focus of attention. Moderator discretion applies. If you have any doubts or questions concerning under-18's in images you would like to post, feel free to consult a member of Staff first.

b. Do not post any rape, bestiality or incest, even if only implied!

c. Do Not post collections or archives, or mixed random 'theme' pics.

d. Do Not direct link or hyperlink pics from another site or forum.

e. Do Not use imagecodes from other people/sites. Download and Upload them on your own.

f. Do not post polls or other general inquiries.

g. No faked images allowed.​

** Repeated violations of any of these rules could earn you a ban. **​

4. Personal Behaviour and Language

Anybody making sexually explicit, salacious or suggestive remarks about children under the age of 18 will receive an instant ban! No warnings!

In appropriate sections on phun.org, images of 18+ year-olds are permitted with full nudity and engaged in sexual activity, real and implied - i.e. pornography! In such cases and places comments of an adult nature are acceptable, although even then it must be borne in mind that the phun-wide embargo on under-age sex, bestiality, rape and incest, even if only fantasised or implied, applies to words as well as images!

However, when images are presented of 18+ year-olds in Celebrity Photos, they will be appearing in non-pornographic situations and activities such as public media events, fashion modeling, paparazzi-shot candids, etc., etc., and observers are expected to display maturity and to reflect the non-sexual nature of the circumstances in any commentary and repartee that they indulge in!

Moderation

It should be clear from the above that Celebrity Photos is not the place to discover pornographic postings of any kind - look elsewhere if that's what you seek! Browsers' comments that do not reflect this non-pornographic nature will invite appropriate, possibly severe Moderation, which may take account of not only words, but also any introduced images, including smilies, or any images present in avatars and signatures!​

5. Reposts / ADDS

a. Do a SEARCH before posting to avoid reposts.

b. Reposting a photo-set already present on the forum is prohibited. The only exception being threads in which the pictures have been deleted/lost. They may be re-upped, but you are required to acknowledge the previous poster, and provide a link to the thread.

c. Images of higher resolution may be added to existing threads where lower resolution images have already been posted (known as Adds**).

** If you're going to add pics to your threads, add them in a following post. Do not add to the OP.* The reasons are simple. In some cases other members who have already visited your threads once may not be aware of the adds (editing doesn't bump a thread). On the other hand it gives the appearance that later posts with adds are reposts, when in fact you're images are the reposts (if they're the same quality).

* A grace period of 20 minutes will be allowed for the editing of the OP. However, this should not be construed as an excuse for adding a great many additional pics. Mod discretion will have the final say in any such cases of editing.​

d. Image Enhancement, Alteration or Upscaling: Altering images in any way, shape or form and then passing them off as original content is not allowed. For example, cropping and resizing images by means of photoshop or other image programs, and then posting them as new 'Adds' will be strictly frowned upon and may be removed or deleted. However, in the spirit of the pursuit for quality images, limited exceptions to the preceding rule can be found HERE​

6. General Rules

a. Commenting on newly posted content is okay but lengthy discussions are discouraged because Celebrity Photos is not considered an open chat forum. If you wish to get into a raging debate with someone, do it via pm or start a thread in an appropriate forum such as Celebrity Extra or The Lounge. All discussion and chat in this section will be subject to the Phun.org Rules Of Personal Conduct. Mind your manners and keep your perverse comments to yourself. Most other members do not care to know about your weird proclivities!

b. THIS is the place for requests and "who is this"- inquiries. No individual threads.

c. It is okay to post a YouTube video related to an image set event, but downloadable Video Clips go HERE. No exceptions. You can link to the related Celebrity Movie Forum thread in your post.

d. Do not resurrect (bump) threads that have been inactive for more than 2 weeks, unless you are adding content allowed by another rule.

e. If you're posting old pics that are either a re-up of dead pics or a shoot/candids that isn't recent, please limit it to 3 threads maximum of that particular celeb per day, out of respect to those who post new pics and don't want to see their threads disapear down to page 3 within hours.

If this post appears to be too long to read, I urge you to reconsider. Because ignoring it is a bad idea.

I consider myself to be a fairly tolerant moderator. Yes, I'm a smartass and can be a dick sometimes, but I'm generally forgiving about what people have to say to me or other members because I realize that most members are capable of fighting their own battles. This is how adults operate in their daily lives so I try not to be a white knight on the board until things appear to be spinning out of control.

Yet lately I've noticed a growing animosity toward some of the women regularly posted in CX and Celeb Photos. This chick is fat, that chick is ugly, this and that chick are fat and ugly. She's a slut. What a whore. Some of the remarks may be vague or contrived, but at the end of the day they still boil down to the same sentiment.

And I don't like it.

I'm not a Celeb Section mod. There are several mods who are noted as forum leaders in this section, and in my opinion they do a fine job. But every moderator on this forum has equal billing in every section to do what needs to be done to keep the board running smoothly. My bailiwick is Sexy Videos, a pair of forums that generate between 5 and 10 new pages of content every day.

So it should interest you to know that I ban members, old and new alike, all the time for violating forum rules concerning imagehosts, filehosts, reposts, bogus thread titles, and a list of other technical infractions that most daily users don't even give a shit about. Which brings me to my point...

I'm sick of the posts about celebs that are nothing more than trolling. If it's your goal to visit phun with the intention of being disruptive for your own amusement, you should know that this guy is not amused and that I'll no longer tolerate serial fuckwits. If I start to see a pattern to your negative comments I'm just going to simply get rid of you. I have the Phun Personal Conduct Guidelines on my side to justify my actions so any hew and cry about being a fascist or the like will only fall on deaf ears. Breaking the rules is breaking the rules. If I can send someone packing (without comment) for persistently using the wrong imagehost, then sending a troll down the road is a no brainer.

Bear in mind: A member who only contributes bullshit is not considered a good contributor. Good contributors earn our respect. Dumbass contributors can find another place to sow their nonsense. Who makes that determination, you may ask? Well I do. It's called mod discretion, and each and everyone of us employs it every single day.

One last thing, I'm speaking strictly for myself. I don't expect anyone else on the mod staff to endorse what I've said here, though I suspect they will.

It's no secret that numerous members of our community are skilled at image enhancement and alterations. We even have a forum dedicated to the craft, the Creative Backyard. It has been the general policy of forum.phun.org that on the whole, with the exception of the Creative Backyard, images and videos posted in the various content forums (such as Celebrity Photos) should be as true to original as possible. The reason for this policy should be fairly obvious, but if you wish for us to spell it out for you, it is because the operators of the forum have no desire to encourage the posting of altered content for the sake of posting altered content.

With that in mind, the Staff have decided that with a few provisions, altered images that reflect and compliment the original content will be acceptable as long as the following conditions are met:

1) Do not post altered content in the Original Post (OP). The OP is reserved for original, unaltered image content* only.

2) When posting content you have altered as ADDS, it must be stated at the top of the post what alterations have been made to the original content, even if the alteration is patently obvious (as in the case of X-Ray pics, or a Collage/Edit). If the image has been cropped, tags/watermarks removed, or have had their lighting/color levels adjusted, it must be made clear in a statement above the content.

3) Upscaled images must be clear and sharp in quality. Doubling the size of an image from 1024 pixels to 2048 pixels does not mean it has been magically transformed from an LQ image into an HQ image. It means it has been changed from a small, acceptable LQ image into a large, blurry and worthless LQ image. In most cases, LQ images can barely tolerate a 5 to 10% increase in size before resolution is noticeably diminished.

4) Fakes and Fakeray images should be posted in the Creative Backyard.​

It goes without saying that any content that does not pass muster with the forum mods may be deleted at their discretion. Altered content that doesn't meet with the approval of a majority of members may also be removed. Failure to follow the simple provisions described above may also result in your content being removed, or your post deleted.

Bear in mind that we are trying to be fair about this issue but we will not tolerate poor quality contributions, or contributions of crap found willy-nilly elsewhere on the web. If you decide to post altered work, you will be posting work you altered yourself. And if your alterations tend toward the creative side, then the Creative Backyard is still the best home for your efforts.

I know that it's likely escaped most of your attention, but in the Rules of Conduct, the first two sentences of the Mind Your Language section reads:

The upshot here is, unless you're in a thread that features anal sex, do not tell the world how much you want to lick or fuck some celeb's asshole. Such commentary is not appropriate for the celebrity forums, so henceforth I will be handing out infractions for such comments, and I will urge my colleagues to do the same. Enough is enough.

If you have a problem with this new state of affairs, we don't care, so consider this your official warning.


MOD EDIT: I should probably add that most of us are tired of reading comments about masturbatory habits too. I just don't understand the kind of brain damage involved that leads to such revelations. We're here to admire beautiful women, not make note of the ejaculatory habits of the hoi polloi. So you know, tread lightly, or you might be labeled a 14 year old, and we don't allow minors on this board. 18+ applies to more than just pictures.

 

Clickbait bikini candids posts such as those for Claudia Romani, Ana Braga, Blanca Blanco, 138 Water, + Etc..., and all such models should be posted hence forth in the Social Media Model Forum.
