  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I've been using an (ahem!) "legal" copy of photoshop for ages now but was thinking of going legit. Only I can't afford full p/shop/ Is elements even worth getting? I checked out a couple of review vids and it seems okay and seeing as I rarely use p/shop for much anymore I was wondering if anyone here knows much about it.

Didn't see this thread until the bump today Jamms, why not GIMP?

It's completely free but it's not much of a compromise in use from what I've seen, being intentionally very much like Photoshop. Can use many of the plugins made for PS I believe and there's a big user base if you need tips or inspiration (although lots of stuff can be ported directly over from PS tutorials).
