  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I just checked it out after they emailed me and it looks pretty good. £45 a month and you get complete access to the entire adobe range at all times. There is a less expensive photoshop only option too.

    It's looking pretty good, good enough to go legit some time in the next year for me I think.

    Eh, if the pricing works for you go for it. I'm not happy with it (the pricing) especially since I only ever use a couple of the apps and not even every day.

    If you've used CS6, the CC apps are pretty much the same. I've heard a couple complaints about small bugs in the CC versions, but personally, I haven't noticed a single difference in either Photoshop CC or Illustrator CC. But, when new features are introduced, those will be for the CC apps only.

    Until a few days ago, there really was no "cloud" aspect to it ... it was getting kind of ridiculous given that they announced file sync and Typekit support last fall. They finally opened both up in beta a few days ago. I haven't really tested the file sync because I only use it on one computer, but the Typekit support is really nice.

    If you're not familiar with Typekit, it's a service to use custom fonts for web sites (because the common OS "web safe" fonts really limit you). If you're using CC apps in the process of making web sites, it's a really big deal because now you can use the same fonts in CC apps that you're using live on the web. Either way, it's another couple hundred fonts to use.

    I guess it just comes down to how much you'll actually use the apps (and how many of them) and if that's worth $50 a month to you. It's easy to justify the cost by thinking of how much is included. But, I'm 9 months in and I've never even opened a lot of the apps. So it kind of feels like paying a $100+/m cable bill for hundreds of channels when you really only watch a couple channels on Sunday night.
