  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Our friend Kempt has unearthed an imagehost capable of accommodating large imagefiles:

    Staff has agreed to allow the GIF makers in the Creative Backyard to run a trial with https://dumpyourphoto.com/ to see if they like it.

    Our one concern about the host is its TOS, which is rather ambiguous with regard to content specifics:

    By using DumpYourPhoto you agree to bound by the following terms and conditions.

    DumpYourPhoto has the right to delete any photo that is illegal, inappropriate or violates any laws. When violating these terms your photo(s) will be deleted and you will be banned. DumpYourPhoto cannot be held response for the photo(s) that you upload or/and share.

    We cannot be held responsible for any downtime or data loss.

    Premium memberships are not refundable.

    Like us, they get to determine what is inappropriate without actually spelling it out. But I presume that for most of what gets posted in CB that may not be an issue. However, because of the TOS we are putting a restriction on hardcore gifs (for the time being), but will allow the softcore stuff like the NUTS girls Hixxy posts in his thread, as well as movie nudity.


    We will give it a 60 day trial in order to see if they delete any nudity content in order to determine what DumpYourPhoto deems inappropriate.

    Thanks. We'll see how it's dealing with the nude content. I have used it before including for nude gifs and the stuff I uploaded is still there. We need this host mainly for gifs over 10 mb. ShareNXS has proven itself as the most trustable image host and the best for gifs, but upload of such big files is no longer possible there.

    I'm not sure what this means for the gifs that have been hosted on this site. So if you've used this host in the past, you may want to go back and save your work, if you haven't already done so.
