Why not use the same as http://phun.org/ ?

 

CAI's idea is good. Why not just reverse the phun homepage colours?

 

that could be an option.

but maybe there`s someone in here with another (better?) suggestion?

It was harder than I expected to fit an ass in such a small image

 

That would be cool with me, I didn't realize it had one. It still doesn't show me for whatever reason, but it's there (if you navigate to it manually).

Some recommendations to keep in mind if you try your hand at making one.

• Make two versions, one large high quality one that can be used in meta tags for touch icons (ex. used when adding the site to your home screen on mobile), and one small one for the favicon.
• Start with one that is a high quality png icon of around 256px by 256px (or maybe even larger just to be future proof, it can always be scaled down).
• Then make a smaller representation of that icon at both 32px and 16px as a transparent png
• From there all appropriate images can be generated.

This is a good point actually. I do recommended starting with a larger icon in case cayne wants to add those as well. But, simply scaling down the large one for touch icons to 32/16px usually won't work. There's not enough room at 16px to fit any kind of detail, so you'll probably need greatly simplify your larger image to get it to work at the pixel level.

I saved the 160 px and went to http://www.favicon.cc/ , then i imported that P. When you're done you can see how it's going to look like at the place where the favicon would come
