Absolutely stunning woman, as if the heavens just opened.

Hey good for Jessica. I don't know a lot about the products her company sells. On the surface, it seems like very no-frills packaging with some nice claims.

If Jessica truly runs an Honest Company, hope she moves lots of product. Although if most other companies were truly 'honest,' they'd label their products as toxic.

Yeah, the title might be wrong. I believe this event was to officially launch these products (the entire line) at Target. I do know that the Honest Co. recently signed a partnership to begin distribution through Target.

Expensive to be honest now adays apparently. $5.99 for some hand soap? Geez. Good thing I know she secretly is in love with me, and that I already love her or I just wouldn't pay for all that. Damn she is without a doubt the most beautiful woman on the planet.

Why do you think Jessica Simpson is worth a huge amount of dough? Has nothing to do with her music career and everything to do with her product lines.

I was looking at the ingredients of the Honest Company product line and was genuinely impressed by the quality. Unfortunately the products are also Made In China, where all the ingredients are sourced. What a huge disappointment, although at least they're upfront about it.

Jessica Simpson is basically selling sweat shop clothing made in third-world countries.

 

I'm not sure any of us really give a flying fuck what she's selling but i think one of her buisness partners is Chinese.

 

Are you guys being serious?
Like, international trading and strategic partnerships, ever heard of that? Entire distribution & sales departments of middle-sized companies (and of course larger ones) exist just to have relations to Asia. Or is this just some headlines-based arguing here.

 

You simply cannot have anything MiA anymore. We have tried for 3 years to have a simple product made in california, and in the interim have done $150 million in sales in product from china. We tried and tried, every time we turn around CA wants another $100,000 for this or that, which probably goes into the state employee pension fund. This year we spent $65,000 in lawyers fees for labeling on a box, and it still did not go through, and this is for a simple garden product.

Unless and until the USA makes it easier to do business, companies will go where they have to in order to satisfy their customer base.

I have less of a problem with the Made in China label, as much as paying a premium for it. I take the ingredients list from Chinese-made products as a suggestion of what's actually contained.

Pretty much everything was outsourced after the WTO, NAFTA and GATT was signed. It's almost as though the US subsidizes Chinese outsourcing. Nothing that a little Honest Company can do about being forced to swim upstream.

Although, their excuse is that the US doesn't have the manufacturing capabilities needed, so they outsourced everything to China. I'm going to have to call BS on that one.

I do believe these posts are on-topic, when these pictures seemingly appear as product advertisements. So maybe it will make a few people do their homework.

I do give credit to Jessica for *attempting* to build an "Honest Company" and being really beautiful.
