  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

How Much Traffic Does It Take To Crash Phun?

    Just curious, with the forums being less accessible the last few days due to increased traffic, exactly how may users does it take to make this happen? Hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, ......?

    Number of users online can been seen towards the bottom of the main forum page. On an average day we get around 4000-5000 people at peek hours, over the last few days that number has gone as high as 12,000.

    The daily peaks are usually a little less than 4K with an average being closer to 2500-3000, I think. But there's no certain number that would crash us because it also depends on what people are doing. For instance somebody reading something that is cached is less expensive than somebody posting, etc.
