In a letter to Playboy forum (in the magazine) some years ago someone had written in asking why all the models suddenly had bald pussies. The editor's response was that Playboy had no policy regarding pubic grooming habits and that the women had chosen to go hairless of their own volition. Given that cybergirl Titania Lyn (below) was sporting a full bush at the time, I tend to think what the editor said then was true.

 

She made her fortune with one camera shot - the opening credits of Three's Company, where she shows the cleavage. After that, her career was assured.

Yeah I think it is the lack of fake tits mostly.. then there is less photoshopping/airbrushing.. bush isn't really a turn on for me.. I mean a landing strip is nice.. not so into bald but trimmed is good... tan-lines are also a turn on and those are pretty much gone these days... could also be more voluptuous woman back then.. less twigs!

It's not so much that I prefer this much bush - I actually don't - it's that growing up with these pictures desensitized me to full bush, and it doesn't bother me in the least. I like anything from V trimmed wide, to landing strip, simply because when going south, you're a lot less likely to incur the dreaded rogue throat hair that instantly makes things awkward...

The majority of clean shaven women reside in two groups. One group does it for hygiene, as hair is known to trap germs, bacteria, and yeasts. The other group is usually in the adult entertainment/modeling/escort/whatever biz, and while there has been a certain pressure there for 30 years give or take, many feel that pubic hair is personal, and only share that with their intimate relationships. Keeping it bald allows them to disconnect the intimacy, which is necessary for much of that industry. Kind of a reverse or invisible merkin.

Completely bald there makes no more sense to me than being bald on their scalp. But I also understand my generation will have to be a bit more patient for it to return - if ever...

Well, think about it.. pubic hair can be styled. That in itself dictates its personal uniqueness. I have no qualms confessing that I give myself a thorough 'porn trim' every couple months, but do not try to remove it all (especially from the testicles). If I would prefer to not have to bring a machete to my southern adventures, neither should my girl... pubic hair is very personal
