Interesting exchange. But, I'm not sure what you're getting at in terms of where the North Face is. On the one hand the bag's name and logo are a shout out to Yosemite. However she is in the U.K. which has it's own North Face at Cornwall.
Anyway, it looks like 'North Face' is becoming what Timberland and goose down jackets were in the 90's. But, interesting exchange.

 

I'm sure she would rather be a hipster douche bag with the means to buy a top of the line bag, than you know, a know it all, on a porn site calling her out for it.

 

i asked this college kid i worked with once why does everyone buy that north face shit? i mean i was in a supermarket looking for the shortest line to pay for my shit and every line at 2 or 3 customers wearing northface jackets. i saw a family coming into the store where the mom and 2 daughters all had it on. i was like wtf is this shit?

this was a few years ago. maybe it's less popular now. idk. i just get what's cool about wearing something that everyone is wearing. not even young hip people, but soccer moms and fat old guys. everyone wearing the same exact brand. doesn't that instantly make it uncool? i know people from other countries mostly europe laugh at how americans dress. like we all adopt the same uniform. go to europe and the only cargo shorts you see are on american tourists.

i'm not trying to put down usa and praise europe or anything, but they are right about how shitty we dress.

 

I dunno, it's a comfortable jacket.

 

I've never heard of that brand so in a way i guess that makes me cool.
