i see well there are changes in the state of emotions in this film but still i need to watch the work of Kieslowski to get some general idea of what he is about.

    Ah, ja.

I still haven't seen L'Enfer. I don't know how much of that one is Kieslowski. On IMDb, it says it was written by "Krzysztof Kieslowski (scenario) [and] Krzysztof Piesiewicz." 'Scenario' suggests maybe Kieslowski didn't actually write all of it.

I do beleive that Krzysztof Piesiewicz was responsible for most of the script makeing in collaboration with Kieslowski off course. Im sure Tykwer got some helpful tips from Krzysztof Piesiewicz.

    The Incredible Hulk (2008 ) ... 5/10

The first hour was fairly uneventful. Once the big guy finally appeared in full light, I didn't care for the Keown-esque styling of the Hulk (even though I like Dale Keown's art). I didn't find the action particularly compelling. And Liv Tyler is not my idea of hot. I honestly preferred the Ang Lee/Eric Bana interpretation.

    The Amazing Spider-Man 8/10

It was much better than I thought it'd be which I was really happy about. I was worried it would pretty much be a rehash of Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man, but thankfully it's a completely different movie. The acting and action was really well done and it was very enjoyable.

    The Whistleblower(Biography/Drama/Crime)

Kathryn Bolkovac has been asking for transfer for quite some time at her precinct. She has lost her kids to their father and his new wife. They are planning to move from the area. Bolkovac nows that the kids are going through a rough time with the breakup and she wants to be near them. It isnt going as planned every credential and her resume is fine enough for a transfer but as her chief tells her there are simply no openeings available for a transfer. He shows her another option a private company working in post war Bosnia are looking for able men and women to be part of a crew to rebuild the law and order. It pays good money for a six month job so she is of to Bosnia. The language barrier is a problem but working in a group of americans and working closely with the UN seems to be working good at first. It doesnt take long for Kathryn to realise that there are secrets that important people dont want her to know about and that almost everyone is in on it.

Based on true events. Post war Bosnia, but as in incendies as i reviewed a few weeks back the war is simply a backdrop for the actual story. There are small indications here and there where you get small hints about the ethnic cleansing that were going on. The real story here is about the "whores of war" as one of the bad guys put it. Human trafficing where eastern european girls are brought in to entertain both diplomats and foreign workers. Bolkovac found out and brought a light on the situation but did we see any justice not really. The contracts that the companies signed with governments were to sweet. And most of the bad guys had diplomatic immunity so their actions couldnt see any courtjustice either. Again another movie plagued with a director of photography that has contracted parkinsons disease. I dont care if it is supposed to ad to the nerve hold the damn camera steady damnit. Good acting but everyone is just extras in the shadow of Rachel Weisz it would be nice if someone else showed something.

The storytelling was decent, but the action did not impress me.

Born on the 4th of July (Tom Cruse)

Never saw it in the theatre but it was in TV this week. For a film that received mucho Oscar nominations (with a few wins), I found it underwhelming. Had the feel of a TV movie instead of a feature film and Cruse's acting was pedestrian. Maybe it was Vietnam Vet guilt that led to those nominations.
