    Congrats on 7K. I like this idea. I also like when the images are annotated with (originally B&W). The use of light is different when the photographer used B&W on purpose.

    This is one of my very 1st sigs. i converted the image to b/w and then added the color.

    When I convert to B/W, I use Photoshop adjustment layers (levels, curves, contrast, saturation, etc.) to get the image to where I like it.

    (EDIT) NOTE: All the images in the 1st post in this thread are converted from color.
