got a question for you guys.. how many versions of Watchmen are out?

the first time i saw it, it was a dvdrip of the 'directors cut' i got from a torrent..

the next time was on tv (HBO i think) but it looked like the regular version, some scenes were 'clipped', probably due to violence..

now last night i saw it on Cinemax, it was 3 hours long, and had tons of scenes i hadn't seen yet, plus a lot of scenes were extended, or changed up a little. i swear there was a new or extended scene every 5 minutes, it was crazy! seemed like it had at least 30 minutes of new footage in it. it was like the LotR extended editions..

I watched it once.

Never again.

So, Ashes to Ashes is over, wrapping up both that series and Life On Mars.

Sad, but uplifted, seems to be the snap consensus.

3 versions. There's the theatrical, directors cut, and then the ultimate edition which has that cartoon movie put back into the flick.

British actors do make for the best villains.

I'd love it if she kept her accent for her new show, but I'm betting she won't. Seems like half the actors in American television these days are English, Irish and Australian actors who adopt that bland, television-American accent when their characters could just as well be English, Irish or Australian.
