    It's as sluggish as Hell tonight. I've started another thread - nobody seems to bother with my other one anymore - either I'm the only one experiencing agonisingly slow site performance, or nobody cares these days!

    It's slow as hell for me too,page loading is about 30-60 sec.,cayne knows about and is fighting with the tech guys.....once again.

    should the 2+ year old topics be deleted or archived ? it might use alot of resources if it searches 1 - 3 year old topics...

    I had some problems two days ago but from here in Ireland it is nice and fast. On at different times through out the day/night and have had very few problems of late other than the one I just outlined.

    I don't know what to do anymore. We're adding new hardware almost on a monthly basis, but the forum is still slow from times to times...

    Someone mentioned earlier deleting old threads - which I think is a great idea. But the databases would need to be re-indexed for it to do any good. With as much traffic and threads as this place gets it should be done on a monthly basis to mantain speed.
