    For further verification, USA time zone Eastern, starting at about 7PM on Monday, Dec. 29th, throughout the evening, Phun over 90% unresponsive with dozens of 504 errors....finally gave up.

    sucks, but as for now there`s only the hoster able to fix such things (well, except wee ALL quit posting, of course). dunno if they gave up too - we don`t have news from them, sadly. they are informed, as usual.

    just a guess: again a sql-server-hangover. there are sone hints for better tuning the servers, someone just needs to implement those.

    I'm sorry that I haven't been around that much lately, but I'm on a 5 day vacation with my gf, on which I still have to work every day for 1-2 hours, but haven't watched the forum that closely.
    I've found a vB guru via the official vbulletin site, which is going to optimize our servers early next year. He'll be hopefully able to optimize the overall performance.
