You should've posted a different vid.
As for the rest, it really doesn't matter in the greater scheme of things who gets elected president. The weightiest decisions that affect or influence world affairs on our part are exerted by the US senate, that's where the real power lies. Unless a president rules unilaterally via executive order - which is unlikely, all of his policies must be approved by Congress, and the senate has the last word on all of them.

The staement you made in your very first post is not an opinion but a directive as to who we should vote for. That was why i made the comment that i did.
You are free and welcome to express your opinion, that i do not have a problem with, but when you basically said we should get Obama in because of yada yada that is a directive, and as an american I do have a problem with that. I don't tell you who you should vote for so why tell us?
As far as your comment about you knowing how our voting system operates if you truly know you wouldn't have made such an ignorant statement likeHe won it by abiding by the rules of our electorate process.it's us asking americans not to fuck it up like they did when the voted bush in for a second term after he cheated his way in the first time and made a cunt of the country.
It is obvious you have no clue whatsoever on how our economic system works hence you would make such an asinine comment.

Look, what you've said is wrong, plain and simple but i know this is going to turn into an argument of futility because you'll never listen to someone who clearly can't have a clue about America because i don't live there. And yes, i do want you to vote for Obama and if i could convince people to do so i would and with clear consience, why, because it would be a good thing.
Bush's admin did not win the electoral event first time around. Even his opponent conceded not to follow the event up with a third recount because it would be bad for America, but basically he shat it.
VOTE OBAMA EVERYONE!!! from Jamms, UK resident.

Jamms, i dont know where you got your information but your misinformed. Bush won the first count. he then won the recount. and after all was said and done, newpapers had thier own indepedent recount and Bush got more votes again. the reason Gore amd his side wanted a 3rd (and 4th if he didnt win the 3rd) was because the paper ballots would degenerate and the chads would fall out the more times they were handled and shuffled. Florida law stated there would be 1 recount if the margin of victory was withing a certain % (it was).
as for voting cause Natalie says so.... if she made a movie i liked i might listen to her. now if Keeley asks me to vote then i will![]()
Thanks to Cold As Ice for the sweet Cheryl sig
There are alot of people from around the world that knows more about politics than I do. But you my friend do not and you probably heard some misinformed news somewhere interpreted by your fellow countryman and infer it is the truth.
Like i said, your lack of understanding of how we elect our public officials here has led you to rationalise something that just isn't true.
Vote for Natalie

In my opinion, who the American's vote for DOES affect the entire world. Great Britain has had America's back (and vice versa) for years. We have supported you through thick nd thin, so I think it's ok for someone from the UK to have a say, especially when (as the past has shown) the wrong guy elected can go and have a hand in getting hundreds of our men killed when they start a war looking for WMDs. Yeah yeah, i know it's not all America's fault and we had a choice, but the fact remains that if Bush hadn't started on Iraq, we wouldn't have either. And my mates would still be alive.
Therefore, asking for you guys to support the candidate LESS likely to start another war is entirely acceptable.

I really don't want to get involved but you could say:
Mugabi won his first count, then he won that recount as well.
Its all about viewing it from where you are.
Like it or not ALL politicians are liars, cheats and thieves.
You vote for what one you think might liar, cheat and steal the less, and then you fuck them off 4 years later when you found out that they lied, cheated and stole.
Politics is a bad subject to discuss on a site like this at any time.
All I can say is Vote for Portman. She has nice juggs.
(which is what this thread was about in the first place I think)

Hmm, if the republicans aren't using the classic "dartboard with a map of asia" method, I'd be willing to suggest Iran or (less likely) Turmenistan could be next. Of course this is speculation, but you know where you are with certain candidates. Obama won't take us all to war, McCain is more likely.
