ATTENTION ALL PHUNNERS!!!!

Apparently, they will be establishing a bunch of new ways of running their service at some point, but one of them will be their complete & udder downfall \/

A further change is going to effect a small number of users that neither upload their files through a Premium- or Collector’s Account.
ATTENTION! Files that are stored completely anonymous can now only be downloaded 10 times. Thereafter an error message will appear.

Here are the others \/

In the future, the download volumes included in a Premium Account is going to be reduced from 10 Gigabyte a day to 80 Gigabyte a month, at continuous exact daily pro rata billing.

The sum of accumulated download-traffic is going to be reduced from 50 Gigabyte to 10 Gigabyte.

Personal web storage space is going to continue to be set to 500 Gigabyte.

Existing Accounts are not affected, aside that due to the change of 10 Gigabyte maximum accumulated traffic, no download volume can be transferred from one day to another.

For all existing Premium Accounts the old conditions are in place (10 Gigabyte download per day), however, you can already make use and profit of the new TrafficShare model.

With immediate effect the FileMigrator has been made available, enabling you to move any files between Accounts (Links Transfer to Premium Account | Transfer to Collector Account below file link in Premium/Collector Zones), namely with the following combinations: From Collector's to Collector's, from Collector's to Premium, from Premium to Collector's, from Premium to Premium. LinkLists can be transferred from Premium- to Premium Account. More information is available in the Collector's-Zone, and respectively in the Premium Zone.

I was wondering why I saw a message this morning that said "You will be allowed to continue to download at the full rate until your account expires next month" (or something to that effect).

I wonder if this is a move to placate some of their legal issues?

i don't think it's moronic to have anonymously shared files bocked after ten uses. they want to promote business, it's not a government service you know, it is a money making enterprise.

i know so folks won't like the drop in bandwidth allowance but it never bothered me before, only once hit the five day wall and it was about three hours i couldn't download for. i download very little porn now as, well, how much porn can i actually watch.

in short, i like r/s and will keep using them happily.

I've been using RS for about 6 months now and I never cared about their changes in policies. I didn't even know that at one point they changed the download max from 10gb to 5gb. I don't even upload and I don't even download that much. RS is one of those cheap services that I bought and sometimes use.

Everyone that typically hosts anonymous shit should start a free collector's account anyways. That way, you can generate premium accounts for free once you get enough points.

They are clearly having problems over there because I am a premium user and each time I upload a file it keeps saying it's not a premium account and gives 10 downloads before buggering off.

I am using my Mega account alongside RS so can switch between the two. When they are running well I have no complaints. Lately however it has been very annoying.
