CylnZ thought it would be a good idea to put my tutorial here, so here it is

How to extract a render from the background (done with Photoshop 7):

    First go to Filter/Extract:

Then select the Edge Highlighter Tool:

Now, highlight the border of the render you want to extract:

    Now with the Fill Tool:

Fill the inside of the border you just made:

Click "OK" and you are done!

It's not always perfect, but I think it's the best way to extract renders... especially women's one, with all the hairs.

Posting this for AFX, but I must tell him that this text technique didn't work well on THIS sig.

But it does generally work well with my other sigs, but I usually have a lot darker lighting, with only 1 light source.

Hope it helps though, it's definitely something to try out next time you make a sig!

    Uncommon font used "Neutronium": http://rapidshare.com/files/37775789...onium.ttf.html

How to view PSD's as Thumbnails:

    Download This

    a) Copy psicon.dll to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Shell if this folder doesn't exist create it.
    b) Run Adobe.reg
    c) You now can view PSD files in thumbnail view within explorer.

Only seems to work on XP or Vista32 though and not Vista64-bit

    64 bit gets me again
I just converted all my psd to png
