Is there a thread with random banners? I need a new one, but I don't know what I want,

plus I'm very picky wouldn't want to waste anybody's time.

I try to work on one myself, but I have no PC as right now.

no.. don't think so anyway, not with free ones to grab. There were a few in the display thread and the cool sigs redux threads, but I guess most of those ones there are dead by now.

maybe I should start such a thread

You could look in the sig safehaven thread, many to pick from there.

They are pretty much all tagged though.

I liked Essential and Helium's work. I might get to use a PC soon, so I might try to draw some inspiration from those two and see what I get.

There are some that you could use as-is but I was mostly thinking something could be retasked for you if you like it, been done before. Or at least serve as direct inspiration: I'd like one just like this...

As for text, my user name "Mokkoriman". And add the tagline: "Always refreshing!" would be neat.

Vertical pics are always tough to make into a horizontal sig, even though it cuts out her face this is the best fit I could come up with:
