Daniel Sturridge has signed a contract with Liverpool according to the press here. Not sure if Pool has made any official statement on it yet.

Milan wants the services of Drogba but cant afford it at the moment.

Representatives of Manchester City are in Brazil rumours has it that they have buisness with Neymar there.

Crystal Palace young talent Wilfried Zaha has attracted attention for quiet some time now and clubs like United, Arsenal and Pool are tracking him closely. Reports state that Spurs has drawn first blood and offered Palace a fee of around 8 million pounds for his services. More is likely to follow.

Sturridge will go one of two ways. He'll either finally get his act together and fulfill his potential, Rodgers being a suitable manager to help him do this, or he'll be another Ngog.

Welbeck and Sturridge both started to get noticed at around the same time in terms of future England regulars but, for me, the former has gone streets ahead in terms of teamwork and hold up play - he still needs to work on his finishing - whilst the latter has regressed into one of the most selfish players around, with a huge ego and lacking the ability to justify it. Still, if he gets regular football and does improve than it's good for England.

Following the draw between Swansea and Manchester United mr Ferguson stated that he was appauled that the referee let the Swansea defender get away with kicking the ball in the neck of laying RvP. He said it was equaled with a murderattempt.

Good old Sir Alex Ferguson always good for a laugh or two. It wasnt pretty but i think the ref handled the situation right one yellow card for the Swansea player and one yellow card for RvP when he went into his "mental mode" that he does at times.

Rumours has it that Sneijder is agreed with Spurs for a move. Its a matter of the two clubs agreeing on a fee.

Adel Taraabt coul be on the move to Milan. He says that Milan isnt a big club anymore but it could be a stepping stone to bigger clubs. Way to piss of the fans there Adel.

    Man Utd-Newcastle 4-3

Is it too much to ask to make things a little bit more easy for us. Atleast Shitty lost away. I have nothing too ad to this no one in the team deserves any special mentioning. I guess Sir Alex will be punished later for his comments to the ref prior to the second half.

MU needs to do something about their defence.
    Too many goals being conceded.
Benitz seems to be getting control of Chelsea.

The government considered pulling the home nations out of the football World Cup in 1982 during the Falklands War with Argentina, official papers show.

In government papers newly released by the National Archives, it was suggested some players felt "revulsion" about competing along with Argentina.

But Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was warned withdrawal would be a propaganda "opportunity" for Argentina.

England, Scotland and Northern Ireland did go to Spain for the tournament

    United-West Brom 2-0

Not the most entertaining match this season but we went out on the pitch and got the job done. West Brom really were poor today i expected more from them but it seemed that they were going for the option to keep the numbers down. Romelu Lukaku should have been on the pitch way earlier than he did, with him on the pitch West Brom atleast had an offence. The pitch was drenched with the heavy rain that has been lately so the passing was laughable at times. Ashley Young, Michael Carrick, Nemanja Vidic and Jonny Evans did a decent job. Great seeing Kagawa back even if he dont have 90 minutes in his body yet.

Still dont know what to think about Welbeck something needs to happen with him soon. Maybe we use his talent wrong or play him in the wrong place but he cant get the game going for him.

The Premier League may not be the the best technically but it's definitely the most entertaining. Some unbelievable games so far and the most goals ever scored in an English league calendar year.

QPR 0-3 Liverpool. 2 for Suarez, and Agger.

bit disappointed at first to only get the 3 since we got them in the first half hour. but then I'm pleased with the clean sheet and why push for more goals with a 3 goal cushion? 3-0 is ten times better than 4-1. there's only one Colin Pascoe!

plus I was having genuine nightmarish pre-match fears of losing!

I'd say that's England's big problem in Champions League matches this year!

    Wigan-Utd 0-4

Well to be fair i dont have that much to say about it. Wigan is a likeable bunch that wants to play football even when they lack the proper players to do so with. Ali Al Habsi was very shaky last night not that he did a major rembrandt on any of the goals but we got a lot of rebounds and free gifts from him. No Wigan wasnt much of a test this time around. Chicha runs on everything up front and kept the three men defence occupied throughout the game. Evans and Da Silva were good in the back other than that i cant say that anyone rised above what they should do.

Daniel Sturridge is believed to be presented at Anfield tonight prior to kickoff. He will not play the match.

Arsenal and Chelsea has both denied and turned down any connections with the Dutchman Wesley Sneijder. Sneijder is again rumoured to be on the move from Inter.

Arsenal is likely to hold talks with Walcott shortly in order to solve the contract situation with the young englishman.

Chelsea has activated the buyout clause that Demba Ba has in his contract with magpies. Newcastle has given the Senegalese permission to go to London for further contract talks. Ba will obviously therefore not take part in tonights game against Everton.
