One of the most overrated players ever. The amount of possession Lin gives away is ridiculous - and I'm a Knicks fan!

Yeah, probably overrated. His turnovers are atrocious, but if he can keep it close to a 2:1 assists to turnover ratio, it isn't so bad. He has only had a few games with that ratio, but it is closer then you would think. Plus, D'Antoni likes a guy that pushes the tempo and Lin does that. He has also scored very well for a player coming out of nowhere.

Are you kidding me? I am a Knicks fan and this guy has been nothing short of brilliant. The turnovers are a little high but you take the good with the bad and the number will go down as he plays more. Without him, the Knicks are still seven games under .500 and D'Antoni is probably fired.

Don't get me wrong, he's been more than good, and yes, without him are season would have gone to shit.

But the hype is to much, and, this is my opinion, when it matters I don't think he will have the stones, but lets wait and see.

In the meantime, enjoy the Hawks rape.

He is absolutely overrated, he has played amazingly well, but 12 games is hardly enough to Justify the level of coverage he has gotten, especially considering the teams hes played against in that stretch. Tonight will be a good measuring stick, if he can put up the numbers he has been against Miami, with Lebron guarding him for large portions of the game, that will justify some of the hype, but its way to soon to be hearing comparisons to Steve Nash.

For me, Nash is one of the all time greats, if he had got out of the Suns he could have been up there in the top 5.

Lin was a joke against Miami, absolutely pathetic.

I don't even want to look at the numbers - embarrassing.

It was an ugly game all around. Lin was bad but that was the sort of game where your stars have to show up. Amare and Melo were not good enough. If this team is going to do anything in the playoffs, those two have to start playing better.

In terms of the hype, what did you expect? The team in the world's largest media market is struggling and this guys comes out of nowhere to pick them up. Then he scores 38 points against Kobe and the Lakers on national television. It was only going to get bigger. Plus, how many really good storylines are there in the league this year? Oklahoma City becoming the best team in the west? Miami looking even better? The Dwight Howard saga? The Lin story was always going to blow up.

Im not surprised, it was bound to happen and you know Miami was going to do everything they could to shut him down. I don't care so much about talking about him, he was on a fantastic run, it was the comparisons to other point guards who had proven over multiple seasons that they were elite, and suddenly after only a few games he was getting lumped in there with them. I hope he does do good, Im not a huge Knicks fan, but I sure as hell like them more than the Heat, so another good team to challenge them is always a good thing

Lin - I hope you were taking notes from Rondo on how to play PG.

And James, again you prove you're just a showman. Doesn't have the nuts for the big games and the pressure points.

Well, LeBron has his ring. Good for him. But they are expecting more than one in Miami. Oklahoma City will learn from this and will be back.

After seeing the whole series between the Spurs and the Thunders, i had no doubt that Oklahoma will become the new champs. They were fantastic in that series.
Well, congrats to Lebron James and the whole team because they prevented that.

One month into the NBA season. Some interesting storylines out there. The story with the Lakers, Miami defending its title, the Knicks and Nets both being very good but most importantly, the Hornets intention to change their team name to the Pelicans.
