The UFC shuffling its cards:
With Frank Mir moving up into Alistair Overeem's spot against Junior Dos Santos at UFC 146, Antonio Silva is moving into Mir's spot against Cain Velasquez and Gabriel Gonzaga is joining the card to fight Roy Nelson.
Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen has been moved to UFC 148, July 7th in Las Vegas.
UFC 147, on June 23rd, will still feature Wanderlei Silva vs Vitor Belfort. Dana White may move Jose Aldo's title defense, originally intended for UFC 149, to UFC 147 even though he doesn't have an opponent yet. UFC 149 could then be headlined by Jon Jones vs Dan Henderson.
Mark Munoz vs Chris Weidman will headline a "UFC on Fuel TV" event on July 11th.
And the Nevada State Athletic Commission made it official and denied Alistair Overeem's application for a license. Overeem will be allowed reapply only 9 months from the date of the positive testosterone test, March 27th, instead of the usual 12 months.

WOW!!! I would say Lavar Johnson is for real!! THAT was impressive!!
A good card last night.
Lavar Johnson got KO of the Night. Dave Herman recently signed up to replace Gabriel Gonzaga against Roy Nelson, so Johnson would have to wait a while for him. How about Matt Mitrione?
Nate Diaz got Submission of the Night and took Dana White's offer to take a break and then fight for the title late in the year. Henderson-Edgar II is in August.
Louis Gaudinot and John Lineker got Fight of the Night. I was only able to watch the main card, so I didn't see it.
Johnny Hendricks says he would also be willing to wait - even longer than Diaz - for a title shot, but I think he's jumping the gun. St. Pierre vs Condit hasn't even been scheduled yet. GSP might be ready in November. Meanwhile, Jake Ellenberger vs Martin Kampmann is in June.
Alan Belcher says he's ready for a title shot, but I think he's just being optimistic. How about a rematch with Yushin Okami?
Dominic Cruz and Yoshihiro Akiyama are out of their respective fights with injuries. Dana White says Urijah Faber will fight someone for an interim Bantamweight belt. Michael McDonald seems like the obvious choice, if he can be ready by 7 July; he just fought on 21 April, but it was less than 1 round.
Evidently B.J. Penn turned down a Strikeforce fight with Gilbert Melendez because he felt that moving to SF represented a demotion. I can't really blame him, I think it would be a demotion too. "Melendez needs to move to the UFC" is becoming a mantra.
