Any of you Bubblers out there use Corel PaintShopPro X4, by chance? Looking for some guidance. Had it figured out once, but I struggled the last time I tried it.

Any of you Bubblers out there use Corel PaintShopPro X4, by chance? Looking for some guidance. Had it figured out once, but I struggled the last time I tried it.

Procedure should be the same in PSP as it is in Photoshop or GIMP, just need to use your layers which I'm guessing PSP has to have at this stage (just checked, it does).

Go into PSP and make sure the layers palette is open (hit F8 if it's not), open the image you want to work on then crop it down if you need to. Add a new layer using the button on the layers palette and then fill it with a solid colour of your choice.

Now before you do anything else save the file in whatever the PSP native file format is (.PSP at a guess )

Then all you need to do is make oval or circular selections on the new coloured layer and hit Delete and you're on your way. How easy was that?

I know this is an old post, but I am wondering where you got the pics for the 2nd group of pics? I can't seem to find them online, and would like to try some "bubble" effects on them as well.

The first one is not so much bubbling, it's more a play with the lasso tool for fun.
