Has something being going on on the system in the last half hour or so? I've made one or two posts (not creating threads, just posting on threads), only to notice a few minutes later that they've gone again!

^^^ No, those are all threads I've started, which I specifically excluded in my original query. As an example of what I'm saying, round about midnight (my time, GMT+1) I noticed that zecavalo had reposted a Lexa ITC set in the Model Forum, that I'd posted a couple of weeks ago, so I posted a statement telling him, and providing a link to mine. Only a minute or so later I noticed that his thread had disappeared, and I was amazed how fast someone appeared to have moved! I checked the Forum Issues thread but there was no record of it, so I assumed either a mod had come across it moments after me, seen my comment and trashed it before I'd got round to reporting it, or zecavalo had pm'd a mod to delete it! (although I thought he was off-line) However, about 20-30 minutes later, his repost thread "reappeared", but my repost comment was no longer there! So I've reinserted it.
Does that help?

That was me, I stumbled on it right after you, and with great regret did the deed, he must have started a new one, cause the one I trashed is still in the trash
Got the other one too
One of two possible scenarios could explain this.
1) One of the server is operating with the wrong time and you happened to be on such server when it was running behind and did not have that thread posted yet.
or
2) Somebody trashed the thread, and it was reposted by the same offending user.
So what you should do now is look at the timestamp on that post. If you know you saw it and commented to it at midnight and came back to see it reappeared without your comment look at the original post's timestamp. If it shows a midnight timestamp then something is wrong with our server, if it has a later time on it then the offending user must have reposted it when he could not see his thread that we had trashed.
I think I'm out of my depth, here, and both versions have gone!
PS I didn't know I had a stalker!![]()
