Question about bumping: Do not resurrect (bump) threads which are older than 2 weeks if you don't have any new content.

Any restrictions on bumping your own post before the two week limit? I mean, can I bump my own post everyday for two weeks (or maybe just one week, because I don't want to be too cheesy) to make sure it remains on the 1st page? (Note: no new content, just a or a "hell yeah")

Bumping your own threads is considered extremely bad manners! You will not be around long if you embark on it!

If someone joins today, every post is new to them. If they decide to search for a favorite/person or topic, what is wrong with them adding pics/vids, posting replies, etc.? Nothing; That's what.

Adding fresh or updated content - which is allowed in the rules within specific parameters - is not the same as bumping a 3 month old thread with an inane post like, "Wow dude, she's hot!" That sort of shit is frowned upon because if it goes unchecked the first page of a forum could quickly become overwhelmed with old content. That is not something we care to encourage.

In some cases. Salty's post had the firm sound of finality about it. Sometimes that's enough.
