I couldn't agree more, and with HDTV, I really wish they would bring it back, but I doubt they would be willing to wear the thin swimsuits they used to wear back then. Too bad there aren't more HQ pics from back in the day that weren't B&W. If I can find the time, I might do a couple enhanced x-rays from them.

I think the black line is there to make her face stand out from the background, it probably looked weird without it. Who would fake such a shitty quality pic anyway?

I suppose that could be one interpretation of why there is a black line. But I will go with it being a fake until I see some sort of proof of it not being such i.e. more pictures of her in that dress. As for why someone would fake such a crappy picture... last I checked, most fakes are crappy by definition.
