So, here in the US of A Thanksgiving, long story short, started because the Native Americans helped out the pilgrams that settled here by sharing seeds for crops for food and teaching them how to hunt and fish. How to live off the land basically. In return they held feasts to show their appreciation, a thanks to them.
To me Thanksgiving is a day that I sit back and give thanks to what I have that I love most. Sure, we should all think of these things daily but don't, well I don't anyway, I take some things for granted. Anyway, here's a short list:
1). My family members that's still alive healthy and happy. We can all complain about some things right? But for the most part we're all good.
2). The fact that the wife and I both have jobs and are able to keep food on the table and a roof over our head.
3). The fact that I have friends to confide in, whether it be ones that I can touch or reach out to online, the support is still there.
Those are the most important things for me. Whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving, ask yourself what would you give thanks for and share it with everyone. Free pron don't count, real life things that get you through the day please.
