i've been on this site for a few years now but i seldom adventure outside the video section so i was just wondering...

any other (talented) musicians out there?
anyone else play guitar/bass and write music/lyrics?
singers/song writers?
drummers?

if so how old are you and where are you from?
what kind of music inspires you and who do you listen to?

AND PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS WITHOUT HAVING TO WRITE A 15 PAGE RESPONSE. (its not that we dont care, we just all dont have hours to read your biography right now although im sure its very interesting...)

ive been playing guitar/bass for maybe 12-13 years (im twenty eight) and i live in the state of Connecticut, less than half an hour outside NYC. I write my own stuff. i prefer to play and write stuff on my acoustic guitars because i have two rather expensive ones and only a couple electric guitars which are rather inexpensive and beat up and just overall kinda shitty. i dont really have any recording equipment at the moment but i know how to handle the majority of that stuff. i listen to and play a huge variety of stuff but to sum up my musical inspiration in as few words as possible would be: PIXIES PIXIES PIXIES PIXIES.

I play acoustic guitar and piano. I have about 100 songs. Tom Waits and Warren Zevon sort of stuff. My sister recorded a bunch of it a few years ago.

I've been playing cello for about 8 years, and as of the past month or so, I've expanded to writing songs for my friend's band. Still a work in progress, and I'm much better at the cello than writing...lol.
