On the other hand, I don't want to have to preside over every topical discussion like an elementary school teacher because the participants seem to inevitably regress into a bunch of squabbling, name hurling third graders. It's happened often enough that it has become old. Very, very old.


So here's a rule of thumb for everyone: Use some intelligence and common sense. If you feel the urge to post a comment that is infantile, ignorant and ignonimous, think twice about it and just STFU.


Otherwise, you can expect your threads and posts to vanish without comment from me.

Fixed it, I thought it went without saying that my comment was in reply to the first inciting post but I can see how you are right Scribs. I put it in and own it because I never intended it to be a serious slur against Irishmen, merely a stereotyped comment meant to point out what others do to U.S. citizens with their comments. We may not have the thousands of years of history that some have welding them into almost a separate race based on where they live but I daresay, most U.S. citizens consider themselves no less united than those who carry names like French, British, Irish and etc...
