all my input have already been said, it's a great place to spend time and we all owe you cayne for creating this place. I would like for it to become faster and stable but I'll rather have a slow phun than no phun
and like Cold said, IRL stuff always have to come first.

Simply this forum is one of few in a whole www where stuff are user friendly, and willing to help in any situation and where you can feel good vibrations all around.
That makes this forum simply the best.

I think most of the regulars here who visit Phun on constant basis appreciate your candid words and hope whatever your annoying personal issues you're going through, we wish you the best.
With that said - and with it being over a week since your gracious apology - now what?
I've seen the ISPrime dude remove the "who's online" from the frontpage and that seemed to speed up the browsing for a bit. But it's still rather inconsistent. I haven't gotten a 502/505/911 Gateway errors for the past week, but I haven't been on here that frequently. Still getting nagging reply errors and unnecessary lag times in "giving Thanks". And as an uploader to the SVF section (or at least, I used to be), I'm not the only one still wondering whether there will be any changes to the filehosters.
So, rather than just being a bitching asshole on a Friday night, here's a list of persistent buggery/annoyances that still somewhat plague the Phun experience for myself and for many others here; I figure if I'm going to bitch and moan, at least do it with the goal of being solutions-oriented.
1) Replying to threads will often have the "Leave/Stay on the Page" window pop-up
By far, this is the most annoying. Usually after typing a reply and hitting the reply button, if it takes more than 5 seconds to load, this stupid window will appear. Hitting the "Leave" button will send you to the "Go Advanced Reply" page layout with the message that you've already made a reply and should you hit reply again, you'll double post. The temporary solution for me is to leave the page knowing that I most likely made a reply, but somewhat makes replying a burden of an effort.
2) Giving Thanks takes too damn long.
I will say I haven't had to wait 20+ seconds anymore to "Give Thanks", so that's improved. Still on average, it takes about 5-10 seconds to give Thanks and on top of that, the page scrolls to the top of the thread rather than just staying put.
3) Who's online frontpage and "light" indicator.
As the frontpage feature of seeing "who's online" is gone for now, does that mean we'll be seeing the online "light" indicator next to user's names working again?
4) Purging "inactive" members and vB upgrade?
Would any of the speed & stability problems have to do with the MASS number of registered accounts there are at Phun? And considering that probably 50% of the user accounts are inactive, that perhaps a purge of accounts that haven't been active in a year or more considered?
I noticed that Phun is on vB version 4.1.8 and there's actually a vB version 4.1.9 - maybe it's worth upgrading to the newer one? I say this because another adult forum I'm a part of (GASP!) made the switch to 4.1.9 not too long ago and while that forum doesn't have close to the amount of posts or members here at Phun, there is no buggery going on there at all. Just a couple things to consider.

what about all of the great people that left this forum because of your personal problems getting in the way of fixing it? will you be able to get them back?
coming on saying you're sorry with no assurance that things will get better does very little good imo and just makes things worse.
