frontpage list of "members currently online"
... well, it's gone.
I'm speaking on the front page, when you scroll to the bottom of the board to the "What's Going On?" section - used to be a list of members currently online. Now it's missing.
Just wondering - it was my main way to see what mods were online (not that I was deliberately watching out for mods)

this list is supposed to be one of the major peformance-"killers".
i for one think it`s a nice feature, but maybe doing some tests with or without that list can help to eliminate some flaws here.

I like Who's online too, but if it's loss means improved performance, which is yet to be seen, then I guess I'll live without it.

Depending on what time you get on, I suppose the list could have been making the forum slow down somewhat. Plus the database having to keep track of what's going on at all times too.

feel free to add your experiences - it`s pretty likely that certain settings are changed back and forth / features disabled and re-enabled over the next couple off days for testing.
