Btw, I blame Phun for shutting down Rapidgator - since virtually every uploader only interested in cash rewards was mass posting Rapidgator links, obviously the filehost couldn't that many uploaders.

but who knows... maybe they'll be back. But if not, just hope no one was ripped off by buying a premium membership.

Yeah it does seem like it got overloaded. I was looking for some TV show episdoes on filestube and all the links were garbage because of Rapidgator.
It wasnt just this site that all the sudden had a billion Rapidgator posts, it was alot of other sites.
This is why I got a premium membership with Oron as they seem to have been around longer and so far not overloaded.
Suprised they actually fixed their premium download speeds, last time I had premium they were capped at 300kb and now its 1MB+.

I read an article how internet service providers are going to start limiting how much people can download by either reducing their internet speeds when they go over a certain limit or charging them more. It's supposed to take effect in July of this year which is why I'm trying to get as much TV, Movies, Music, and Porn as I can before it all goes to crap.

Has anyone else heard or read the same thing?

Well, I don't know about ISP's limiting downloads... but many ISPs are working with the RIAA (Recording Industry Associations of America) to "police" internet traffic this summer. I posted about it in this thread here.

Really lorencia? Well then, my foul-mouth lamer, what makes you think they won't scam? I mean, considering they've been offline for a week now and considering these are some of the same guys who used to run Filesonic. They basically shut down Filesonic without any warning, scamming uploaders and downloaders, bought Rapidgator on the cheap to start the cycle again. Of course, some of this is unconfirmed but most of it has been substantiated on other forums.

Not that it fucking matters anyways - for cashspammers, it's not about what filehost to trust... just whatever can make them the most virtual dollars.
