I know a guy -- a friend of mine, yeah, that's the ticket -- who is a member at Planet Suzy because of the extensive Asian section they have there. Guessing it is just an automated program that reads your IP address and fills in the city during the "chat." If you had been using a proxy that put you in Bumfuck Egypt the bot would be claiming to be from there too.
