Given the way the US law phrases the term pornography I think we should still make everything 18+ in the amateur section. Better be safe than sorry.![]()

Very pleased to hear it.
I think you're spot on, and this is a good idea in general. So many times I've seen girls posted here who are so obviously underage and no one even seemed to question it. I'm sorry, but if I see a young girl with braces on her teeth, with her top off, I'm assuming that's some illegal shit right there. Maybe not for everyone everywhere, but for many.
Good on ya, J3scribe.

Additionally you have lots of amateurs doing mirror shots too and they should be 18+. Too many girls and lots of overlapping going on. Even with bikinis on they should be 18+.![]()

There are a gazillion pics on the internet of girls who have taken nude pics of themselves in a mirror and I'd be willing to bet that 75% of them are under 18. If I lost that bet I'd be surprised. However, I also think that the percentage of girls who are over 18 is large enough so that you can argue that any particular one of them is of age - and without actually knowing the truth of the matter it makes the whole exercise moot. That said, there are a lot of pics of nude girls who almost no one would argue on behalf of them being legal. Those are the images that content posters should avoid including in their posts. I would never have another word to say on the issue if everyone would just agree and abide by that simple rule of thumb. I don't think it's a lot to ask.

Sounds like you and I have a similar stance on the issue. Your last two sentences illustrate what my 18+ idea would accomplish.![]()

Except in the cases of Official Amateur Models and those content providers who do their own camera work with their spouses and girlfriends it's impossible to confirm the age of any of the random subjects. An 18+ rule is impossible to enforce if there's no biographical data to use to enforce it. For us, it's merely subjective. This is one of those instances where cooperation and consensus is needed in order to have any success.
On the other hand, it's quite possible I'm beginning to turn the issue into an excessive intellectual exercise.
Really, what it boils down to is this: Don't post nudes of little girls, god dammit!

You mean the girls taking pictures of themselves in mirrors? Right, like that's gonna happen. Besides, they're not in violation of the act if they're not engaged in sexually explicit behavior, and even if they are it's by choice if they are the ones in control of the photography. I don't believe there is any law that says someone can't film or photograph themselves having sex.
Doesn't matter, that's not what's happening here. This is mostly girls taking pics of themselves or their girl friends - which is not illegal - and then somehow they find there way to the internet, which I don't think is illegal either. In either case I don't really care what the law says. I'm here to enforce the forum rules. 16+ except in the case of nudity, then it's 18+.
Isn't that basically what I've been saying all along? The other basic rule of thumb is if the girls look too young you shouldn't be posting them on here.![]()

I would hate to have a picture of a 16 year old being topless fly under the radar. Pornography is so vaguely termed the days. 16 year olds in bikini could be view as it in some people's eyes. It also depends on how others define "causes sexual arousal" too.
I hate to think about there's a chance I could be looking at some girls' photos who are in the 13 - 16 years old range. There's always that possibility of that happening when it comes to the amateur section. Maybe the amateur section should be stuff from candid paid sites?(What my point was in my last post, long days sometimes causes you to write something different than what you really want to say or mean.)
I think we should get rid of the amateur section. Too many risks with it! The only threads that seem legit are the ones from Facebook or Tumbler , places you think will be monitoring what's going on with their members. Oh well, I'm going to end my take in this particular thread.
*Edited for less confusion*
